The Famous Petersen Museum
We have an exciting announcement!
As many of you know, we own two of the surviving five-screen used “Knight Rider” Trans Ams. A few months ago, we were approached by the world-famous Petersen Museum in Los Angeles inquiring about loaning them one of our cars for a new year-long exhibit.
Those of you who don’t know about Petersen is considered one of the best automotive museums. To have one of our cars in their museum is an honor that we could not pass up!
If you’ve been to the Petersen recently, you will recall that they have a row of Hollywood vehicles on the top floor of the museum. As we understand it, K.I.T.T. will not be joining that row of cars but will be included in a new feature exhibition somewhere else in the museum.
At the time of this writing, there are currently no other screen used “Knight Rider” vehicles on display, so if you want to see one, you’ll have to head to Los Angeles!
As we get closer to the exhibit’s launch date (sometime in May tentatively), we will share more details about this incredible opportunity!
