$150,000 Knight Rider Replica! – (Part 2)
Welcome back, Knight Rider Fans! Today we are going to discuss three more items that make our KITT Replica the closet you could get to the actual Pilot car from the TV Show Knight Rider. Now, we know our replica isn’t screen used, but we built it to be as close as we could get to the show! Well enough of us blundering on. Let’s get to three more new items that we have done to make our replica the best in the world. PS: If you missed Part 1 start there.
1. Let’s talk about KITT’s original Scanner. It has been a hidden secret for a long time and will stay hidden as we have sworn to keep this a secret. The reason no one has made the Scanner correctly is no one has the information on the original Scanner and all the functions. Our Scanner was built exactly to spec in size, weight, bulbs, and features. We’d like to repeat thanks to the Knight Rider Historians as they have the original blueprints and built us that outstanding scanner feature for feature and even added some new tech that we can show at a later date.

2. CRT TV’s: The next feature we want to focus on is the original black & white CRT TV’s. We are using new old stock televisions – the same ones used in the series! They are connected to HD media players and allow us to watch whatever media we want! One of the TVs also doubles as the display for our front camera.

3. Interior Seats: The correct color of the seats is called doeskin. We got lucky here. We were able to purchase the last 10 yards of original 1982 material to make our replica stand out. Unless you have a brand new or hardly used 1982 Trans Am, finding original seat material is impossible. Still, we do sell a version that is identical in color and pattern to the NOS material.
