Famed composer Don Peake was responsible for the sound of “Knight Rider” for most of the series. Over the last 15 years, Don has released select musical scores to some of his “Knight Rider” episodes (he scored 77 in total), much to the fan’s delight!
Don dug deep into his archives and found 27 additional episodes that the public hasn’t heard before! We here at KITT STILL ROCKS have been working with Don to digitize the 30+-year-old audio reels for the last six months and are excited to be able to offer these to you guys – the fans!
Each musical cue from the episode has been extracted, cleaned up, and labeled in chronological order so that you can follow the music in the order it was played in the episode! As an additional bonus, we’ve included snippets, where available, of things you didn’t hear in the episode – such as scene intros (Production #, Take #) and outros (“Save it!”). Hearing these additional bits adds another layer to the fantastic work that Don did on the show.
We’ve got eighteen episodes available now as either instant downloads or loaded on a car key-shaped USB stick, with more episodes coming in the next few days and weeks!
