Knight Rider 2000 – Oil Slick Kit
Here at KITT STILL ROCKS, we are always striving to bring you the latest advances from Knight Industries Research and Development. Today, let’s talk about the Oil Slick.
Michael Knight had dozens of features at his disposal thanks to Bonnie (and April, too!). Still, one of the most well known is the Oil Slick – at the press of a button; KITT can spray a thin coating of oil behind him, neutralizing any car that gets its tires on the slippery substance. We wanted to replicate that functionality for our flagship replica, and in doing so, also be the first to offer this setup as a do it yourself kit. Our “Oil Slick Kit” comes with everything you need to install this gadget in your replica – a reservoir tank, solenoid, fittings, sprayers, hoses, and hardware. Directly connect it to a 12-volt source, press the button, and you’ll be spraying those criminals chasing you right into jail!!! Of course, with EPA regulations being what they are these days, we’d suggest substituting black-dyed water for the oil.
This kit is straightforward to install and takes about an hour from start to finish. Detailed instructions come with the oil slick kit!
